Professional software architect with passion for underwater photography, Alexander Safonov lives in Japan and underwater photography has been his greatest hobby since 2006. Sharks are his favorite subjects... "a combination of danger and beauty, perfect animals", as he says. Winner of "Our World Underwater" competition, 2009 edition, the 34 years old photographer reveals trough his photographs a world which is not accesible for the most of us.
